I have one, thank you very much! It is also clearly better than yours, as I do not spend my spare time supporting PA. =( I spend it annoying you because no one's taking you seriously anymore!

I stepped into this thread a bit worried because for the most part, I hate getting involved in PC drama. It's ridiculous-- judging from many of your posts, I'm sure the vast majority of you will agree.
I have nothing to say really that hasn't already been said by somebody else at one point or another. The flame war over the PA is ridiculous. Starting one in the first place is also ridiculous. I don't understand why others need to be warned about a list of rules they already agreed to by signing up for the PA in the first place. Like many have said, if you don't like it, don't sign up.
Yeah, I would feel rather bummed out about buying a pet that is free for download elsewhere-- but guess what? I walk into every single auction knowing that is a possibility. Sure, I wouldn't have bid on said pet if I knew where I could get it for free. However, I didn't even know it existed until I saw it on the PA. In the end, I paid what I felt the pet was worth and I got what I wanted. Sure, unique-ness of a pet is a plus, but I paid my credits to get what I wanted.
I suppose I don't see why all this fuss was started in the first place, however in saying that it's just an open invitation for folks to defend themselves and thus the flame war continues and so on and so forth.
In my personal defense, to quote the rules of this forum:
"Your own opinions are encouraged, but remember others may not agree with you. Respect this, and do not make it a reason for nasty arguments."
I 100% agree with this. Note I have lashed out at no one in this post, only defended a project I see as beneficial to the PC. This is me saying "Hey, I don't agree with this" which is perfectly legit. You don't agree with me? That's perfectly legit too.
To be sure folks do not question this account as was done to S.O.S. (whom I know from TPCG and can vouge for), my PC handle is Trinity and I own Crazy Hollow (http://not-today.org/crazyhollow). I frequent TPCG as "Trinity" and for the most part, I do not change my handle throughout anything involving the PC.
All this rubbish aside, this is my first visit to your forum and I hope to stick around as I love meeting new PC folks. ^_^! However, if expressing my opinion has put a mark against me, well... I took that chance when I hit "post reply." ^_^!

I agree with Kaz. I am going to continue to use the PA, mainly because there are some very nice hexies that people make who are, like, masters at it who might not own sites or have a place to give them out. Either that or give out a hexie to a stranger like me. xD Plus, no applications, and I can just play with them without having to be pressured to show the dog. I do, however, believe that rules should be a bit stricter in a way. If the pet is downloadable, go ahead, sell it. If I find the pet, though, I will gladly give the original distributer an email and then they can do as they wish with the person. They can make a blacklist on their site and take down the hexies or do as they please. Which is the reason why when I am FINALLY finished my site, I am not giving out downloadable hexies. However, if this person filled out an application for the dog and then put it up on the PA, make some more copies and sell again, then the mods should delete the dog and give a warning, because if that doesn't happen, you know people will be getting into fights. Though, really, the person is just punishing themselves by posting the dog. Think of how their reputation will change after that. I certainly would never commerse with those kind of back-stabbing liars who I will act kindly to and then get hurt by later. I would never give them a pet, ever. Oh, dear, I'm starting to rant.
