is there any cheats to be able to choose the gender of you child?? i always get boys when i want girls and girls when i want boys haha
also.. does ne one here have sims 2 pets? how do u take in strays??

You can't pick the gender of your child at all.
As for getting strays you have to be really good friends with them and then the option will show up.

I'd recommend if you want a different gender, save right before you expect the birth to happen, and if the kid comes out the opposite of what you want, exit the lot w/o saving and go back in till you get what you want.

It does work, I've seen it happen. It's just purely random so I don't recommend it.

Yeah, sometimes it takes several tries, so I only recommend it if you have a fast computer. But I've done it--I wanted twins that were one of each gender, (I was using a hack to get twins every time!) but I kept getting two girls or two boys, but finally on like my fourth try, I got one of each:)
