What has happened to APKC forum!

It's changed so much, it's dying!
Everyone is different and it's barely even a pets forum anymore

WHY did they add all those other sections? it's All PETZ kennel and cattery, people can go to other forums for those other games

It makes me sad, I used to love this place so much and now all the people I knew are almost gone and it's barely active, I miss the Petz centered active friendly APCK

Think about it..

APKC itself isn't an active site, it's an archive site instead. Interests also change and admin/mods want to keep everyone's interest.

If we really want to get the place hopping again, it'll probably require a great deal more activity on everyone's part..and that probably won't happen until term finals are over.

the site has been an archive for a long time, when that happened the site was still active, I just guess the new generation of people playing petz are less and not very active, most of the people who kept this forum great are almost gone :-(, I havn't myself been active for awhile and came back hoping to be a part of it all again, only to be dissapointed that there isn't much to be apart of, Petz wise at least

And without "all those other sections" I don't think there would be anyone here anymore. I think this is the last 'generation' of petz gamers, haha.

I'm well aware that it's been an archive site for a long time but that adds into it. If there were a site that was active and went along with, the forums would be more active.

And then are plenty of active Petz forums out there too.

Its very sad to see the forum dying.
Every new thred in this Chat Forum Section, somehow has something mentioned about the forum dying XD
Its like we could rebuild the forum by complaining about it dying and thats all the conversations would about, is how we wish the forum wasn't dying, I dunno XD

I myself was trying to get it more active by brining up threds about how peoples holidays were, it worked sort of in just those threds pretty much, but not for very long X3

I think I'd have to agree with you.
Even those who use to be petz gamerz are now switching over to not being them, but those boards being there is just nice to have/see anyway

Another problem with this forum dying is that most people around here don't play petz anymore.
So it's not exactly a petz based forum anymore.

But posting new adoptions might help.
Or starting petz discussion threads.

I agree.. it's hard to keep up with everyone's interests.. and Petz is a game that's sold for $5 at Toys R Us and nobody wants to play it anymore... there are so many games out there that are "more interesting" than Petz that there aren't too many people flocking over to the petz community..
So we're the last generation of petz players and a lot of us have "grown up" and we don't have time to play.. we're busy now.. a lot of us are in college or nearly in college, and this time of year a lot of us are in school (I'm going out on summer vacation in two weeks, but I live in Brasil =P)

I actually felt like playing petz a few days ago but I have to look for my CD =P

It makes me sad because if you look at the petz adoptions, there are threads that havent been responded to since early OCTOBER. I remember when you used to post a thread and it would only be on page one for a few days because of the number of people giving petz away. :[

i dont play petz anymore but i still pop onto apkc once in a while but i dont think anyone remembers me now seeing a sank into a world of non computerness.


although i did recieve a charming myspace comment from DIVACUP today which inspired me to look on apkc to see what im missing.

I didn't have any interest in pets anymore, but I still remained in the community, more behind the scenes, passing my kennel on to my sister and teaching her some of the lnz pro. Other than that almost all my good friends left.

I only started playing petz again today. It suprises me how easy it is now! I have already adopted and shown new petz. It depends what forum you use. But it is a fast dying world. I was looking for the Lucinda Green : Eventing Challenge earlier, and the number of Petz games left on the shelfs is amazing. In every shop it was there! What is the petz world coming to?

I doubt the Petz games you saw were really Petz, I mean a company bought Petz awhile ago, redesigned the box and then made it into an entirly new game but with the same redesigned box, so now Dogz, Catz and even Horsez and no longer even similar to ours
