"A new generation.."
They say an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind, but the occupants of Crossing Boundaries, well, they just don't care. Trouble's brewing and things seem to be going from bad to worse. Karah, alpha female of the Amiss pack and daughter of the infamous Tahmores, has done a remarkable thing. In contrast to her now cruel nature, she's stolen a puppy. And not just any puppy - the puppy of the leader of the well-known dog gang, Soren. This action triggers a result of numerous events to take place. Amiss is keen on keeping the pup, due to the fact Karah has taken a liking to the youngster. Faust, a neutral pack, is split somewhere in between, some of the pack believes Karah should return the dog to its father, but afterall, as they say, majority rules. The Indra pack appears to be in alliance with Amiss, but unknown to almost all, they're secretly allied with the Soren pack. Why is this, one might ponder? For two reasons, mostly. First and foremost being that the Indra alpha, a conartist by the name of Mobscene seeks power. And she'll stop at absolutely nothing to get it. Also, the Indra alpha despises Karah due to the fact her childhood "sweetheart," Rhett has fallen for the cold-hearted female.
And the trouble doesn't end there. With the dog packs, there's already been a rift between the two for some time. Hauze, leader of the Soren gang, is in love with Liseli, mate of the Aderes alpha, Mika. It seems conflict is constantly raging between the two, and the only thing stopping them from tearing at each other's throats, is Liseli. But when Hauze's son, Riley, is taken by Karah, Liseli feels bad for Hauze and convinces Mika to help Hauze and the Soren gang retrieve the pup. But we all have to wonder, is Mika's heart really in the task? It's obvious that two things seem to be on everyone's mind; revenge, and power. Five packs, formally balanced with a sense of order, now seem to be at war with one another. The Aderes is perhaps the only group who is not blinded by hatred and a thirst for vengeance, but will their attempts to restore the balance be in vain?
It seems that all anyone has left, is hope...
