Last night was my friends 18th so a group of us went out. Me and Danielle go to a deifferent school from her and her friends. On the way into town the arranged to meet up with some of there male friends, right, nothing unusual there. So we went over to meet them, well anyway, long-story-short, one of our male friends was with them cause one of them was his cousin. We ended up dancing together for ages and I kinda tried it on with him(most of the girls think i was actually with him) and he was going for it, I thought he would we'd been really close all night but then he just pulled back and was like "Your my friend. Stop. No, your my friend". It's not really that big of a deal but we had just started getting good friends and I'm really shy and have probably just ruined the best relationship(platonic relatioship that is) i've ever had with a guy. I'm going to be so embarrassed on Monday!

Well it sounds like he was the one going for it and then decided he didn't want to. He should be the embarrassed one. If you're worried about that ruining the friendship, don't. He stopped because he didn't want to ruin it. I realize this was posted almost a week ago, so how have things been since then?

I agree, plus, sometimes it's better that he pulled away... my friend had a guy friend who led her on for two months before he told her he was with another girl from another city and that he couldn't go any further in their relationship.
Guys will go for most girls if they even so much as suspect they like them... but if they have morals and stuff, they'll pull away if they know it's "wrong"
But yeah, this was posted quite a bit ago; how are things now?

I hadn't realised anyone had replied to this! Anyway things are fine now he is being so nice about it! I think he thinks i don't remember but i know he remebers because Danielle(who i told what happend because she thought i was with him) asked him if we were together but he said no but that I had tried it. He's with another girl now and there so cute but anytime that night is brought up in conversation he says we(me and him) had the best fun but he also says I was really drunk(I wasn't by the way), so i figure he thinks that because i'm shy i would've had to drunk to try it on and have since forgotten so he's pretending it didn't happen(Phew! ) I'm so lucky it was him, most of the guys i know would have made a laughing stock of me!
