It's best to hex using both PWS and LNZ pro as there's a lot of things you can't do in PWS. So I really suggest learning LNZ pro too. Anyway, when you made your hex, did you change the offset number? If you want it to be it's own seperate breed file (not an overwriting one), you should change both the breed's name and offset number. You can do this in PWS or LNZ pro. The offset number needs to be one that's not already in use by any of the breed files currently in your game, otherwise your breed file won't show up. To make your hex a non overwriting file in PWS, click "file" and choose "save as". Name your hexed breed what you want, save it (save it to the resource\breeds file to put it in the game), than a box will pop up allowing you to change the offset number. Do so. Open your petz game, your new breed should be in the adoption center. If it's not, it's probably because the offset number is the same as one of the other breeds in the game. Change it to something else. If you want an overwriting file (which is best for adopting out hexed petz, otherwise you have to give out the hexed file in order for the pet to work in their game, and that can lead to a bunch of complications.) just choose "save" instead of "save as" when you save your hex. Do not change the breed's name or offset number. Before you save it to the resource\ breeds file, make sure you back up the original breed file since the hexed file will overwrite it. Once the new hexed file has been saved to the breeds folder and has overwritten the original breed file, start up petz and bring out a pet from the file you hexed. Note that for files with variations, you can choose "collapse variations" under the "breeds" menu in PWS. This will make it so that there's only one variation, the one you're currently hexing. Otherwise you may need to keep bringing petz out of the adoption center until you get the variation you hexed. Hope that helps.
