Now now, Petree - don't be bitter. I'm sure Meyers didn't mean it like that. It's no reason to give personal attacks on her.

BAH. I kinda agree with britt. I mean, srsly, I loved the book, but there ARE faults and there ARE messages that aren't exactly the best. But of course, MOST bestselling authors are criticized, soooo

I'm pretty much a man then, hahaaa. God kids are gross.
I've never read any of the books, but I've heard about them & I just had a quick look on the website. I'd never read anything to do with vampires in the first place, esp. teenage girl vampires, but a disappointing ending is a disappointing ending. :c And just because the author's created the characters doesn't mean that she can do whatever she pleases with them and it'll be in their character. :/ It'll most likely be in HERS. How insulting to her readers. Also does anyone remember the Lemony Snicket books? They had a ridiculous ending too, where the 3 kids raised a child and sailed off in a boat. It just didn't go with the rest of the books at all. Why do authors do that? What is wrong with them?
It's like whenever I reread the last HP book I always skip the '20 years later' ****. Yeah, you can **** me silly if Draco's hairline would be receding.

She's not not writing Midnight Sun. She had the original idea of not writing it, but then went for it anyway. The story is, I guess, that she entrusted the first few chapters to some very loyal and trusted friends of hers - but lo and behold, someone uploaded those chapters. I'd be devastated too - and why write when you're devastated? It'll just portray that devastation in the written words. Yea, maybe she overreacted, but wouldn't you if your "child" (aka - your story) somehow leaked onto the internet? I mean, I guess there's always that risk. *shrug*

Ah, so I had just bought Breaking Dawn last night. I began reading it last night too, but I'm only at page 32. Has anyone read Midnight Sun yet? I know it is not out yet, but I mean online, it is very good.

When I first saw this posted I had absolutely no clue what the whole breaking dawn thing was XD
Then I guess later on I found out from the pictures that it must have been some kind of book XD But yeah not really a book person so I was like "eh book..."
Now I found out that its actually a book in a series of books like last month from my friend, ahaha go me X3 But my friend convinced me to start reading the series X3 I might make it to this book in the series someday, since I'm actually finding that maybe books arn't as bad as I was making them seem all throughout high school XD
