I agree.
Birth scene and pregnancy ruined the entire series.

Yea - I mean, I liked it. I think it's sweet that she's in love... But for real, Marriage? But I guess it sent young teens to not have sex before marriage! And, yea - having a kid kind of ruined the whole "young lovers" theme. How can you be "young lovers" when you have a kid...?

exactly. you can't be young lovers with a kid, especially one you actually have to take care of (which wasn't the case for say, Carlisle x Esme)
aand idk, i think the book could have been split into two -- half of it her honeymoon/pregnancy and the other half her birth/fight scene thing, cuz it wasn't all that descriptive and Bella went from a newborn to a vampire in control waaaaay too fast, really. there wasn't much of an actual transition.

i'm not a book readery person because i usually read half of it, forget about it, then when i remember it i can't be bothered to continue.
is it worth me getting twilight anyway? like, will it keep me going? the only book i've ever read, finished and still thoroughly enjoyed was marley and me, haha.
edit: oh yeah and i don't even know what they're about. can someone give me a bit of info without telling the story? it's just that everyone talks about them so it's made me interested. plus i should probably read, since it's good for you n'all.

OMG YES READ ALL OF THE TWILIGHT BOOKS EXCEPT FOR BREAKING DAWN THEN YOU WILL BE GOOD TO GO "Isabella (Bella) Swan moves from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington to allow her mother, Renée, to travel with her new husband, Phil. After moving to Forks, Bella finds herself involuntarily drawn to a mysterious, handsome boy, Edward Cullen, who turns out to be a 'vegetarian' vampire, (a vampire who drinks animal blood, as opposed to human blood)." i stole that from wikipedia.

i loved this book, but i am christian so i didn't support some themes shown in the book for the younger audiences. overall, minus some parts, it was good imo.

i miss reading them when they were still in school, for some reason! i guess it was just easier to relate/easier to read about or something, i haven't thought about it much.

linlin that is exactly what it is -- they were more relatable.
apparently smeyer said that this is what the characters were meant to be from the beginning, this is their true personalities, and if we can't accept that, then we know nothing about them. sry2say but that is her calling everybody who disliked the book a bad fan. well i have some words for you smeyer, get off your fatass, head to the gym and stop writing books with the message that you aren't a woman unless you have a baby. idk that's just what i got from it.
