Making the entire game from scratch files?

Petz4.

I would like to put it together so I could play, at least a rough version of the game. All I would like to do is make hex's and breed Petz using PetzA. (I run on a laptop with Windows Vista)

Please do not send me to Carolyn's Creations - I've looked through it and it was simply a mess to try and find what I needed - which is why I'm going through a forum. (Meaning, there was no step by step instruction - and next to nothing on Petz4 that I could find.

Any instruction or hints/tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
