Darn it people! When you are done with an adoption, you DON'T DELETE THE TITLE!! I come in to check a thread and all I see is "Mods delete." It is impossible to find stuff.
READ THE RULES!! You put "MODS DELETE" IN the title, you don't delete the original title. Just add "MODS DELETE" at the end of the title.

... And what'd be the point in that, if everything was adopted, anyway? Just bookmark a thread if it's that important to you. I think that's why Proboard's added that feature. Possibly.

Doesn't matter really. Theres like 3 threads with MODS PLEASE DELETE. So it's easy to find the one you want.

The rules just pay to put it 'in the title'

^ That's not very precisely said in the rules, like the "in" part. I mean, if it was really nessesary to not put it instead of the title, wouldn't there be a note about it? Or something. Nobody really does it anyways, so I've never noticed. (I agree somewhat with what Cara said, why not just bookmark the thread?) You do have a good point Minybite, but it doesn't personally, bother me. =/

If someone puts Mods p[lease delete in the title there's no point in looking at it. maybe, juts maybe they put mods please delete so that the mods actually delete? I don't know but that seems like a possibility?

Yeah, if its already taken why would you want to look at it? XD I delete my pics after the dogs are adopted. I agree, just bookmark a thread if you want to see it that bad.

No, actually, it's a pretty good point because people tend to do it all over the place.
There are a couple of reasons you might go looking for an old adoption thread.
1. You didn't recieve the file and need the owners email to contact them. 2. You recieved the file but need help (though arguably you could e-mail, but if there is a problem with e-mail then you'd need the old thread.) 3. To say 'thank you, I got the pet and I love it'. (Which not everyone does...)

^ Mmm.. yes, those are actually very good points. Now that I re-think that, I think I'll try to keep my title partially intact, but then again, I do usually give a few days before asking for the thread to be deleted.. but I think I'll try.
Number 3 is my pet peeve, I hate when people don't even e-mail me back saying they go the pet, it's so annoying, how do I know they even got it?

I always reply to the e-mail letting the person know I have the hexie, and to thank them. Manners Matter, yes they do. I write down adoptions I have applied for, and the who and where... I have a terrible memory.
