I am most likely the only one here who does this, but I make my breed this way...
1. Change the original file, so I can use notepad to make external lnz files to edit.
2. Once I have the breed as I want, I open LNZ Pro and open the original breed I used as a base.
3. I choose edit, then replace from file, and point to my external lnz files to replace the originals and save.
4. Then I add the AC picture in Hex Workshop.
5. Last I unibreed the file in LNZ Pro.
You get the picture... anyway, my question is this. I've noticed that after completing the breed and playing with it in the game, when I pick the pet up it tends to go all wirey when it moves a certain way, as if the linez are messed up. Otherwise it looks fine. Has anyone else ever experienced this? If not, am I to assume I should just make the breed entirely in LNZ Pro? Is my querky method causing this to happen?
It hasn't occured in every breed, but it has happened in two now. It happens to the tail on my Harlequin (Great Dane ow) and my latest breed, which is not yet released, because of this weird glitch.
I am going to try to create the breed from scratch in LNZ Pro, to test it... but I would like to see how others methods vary.
Edit - Update: I made the breed again, using only LNZ Pro to create the breed, and pet2bmp to make the ac pic, but then I added it using LNZ Pro. Then I made it into a unibreed, now it's even more weird... it works in Petz 3, but in Petz 4 it still goes all wirey. Oh well...
To clarify, I made no adjustments in [Linez]. I only added paintball variations.
Edit again - Well, I thought I'd check my other file, the Harlequin... it works fine in Petz 3!! So, it seems the issue has to do with the difference in Petz 4 and Petz 5 that causes the petz to go wirey now and then, when picked up...?
Gah! My brain hurts... I'm giving up for now. Anyone have any idea what the hey is going on... chime on in. I'm going to take an aspirin.
